My cath lasted much longer than any other cath I’ve had and required more radiation that a normal cath, but EVERYONE got the pictures and numbers they wanted. Everyone meaning my cardiologist and my EP specialist.
All the numbers and pictures look good, better than expected and I’m perfectly ok with that. I had some issues with anesthesia, mainly headache and low oxygen saturation numbers. I’m just starting to get my appetite back. Luckily though, very little pain.
No swimming for a few weeks though, but since it hasn’t been out of the 60s in over a week and the river has flooded almost everywhere possible in this small town, I don’t think I’m actually going to miss out on any swimming weather.
Post surgery recovery:
This part is the most difficult part. I’ll be tired for awhile because of the general anesthesia and the length of time it takes for it to work it’s way out of the body. I’m hoping to be back to my abnormally normal life in the next few weeks.
